Raised in New York, I moved to Virginia in the 60´s to join my husband, who was stationed at Little Creek in the Navy.  Over the next 40 years,  I worked  multiple roles in Healthcare including RN, Nursing Director, Coordinator for Home Care, Project Manager and Change Agent.

My husband, Pat and I always planned to have a business together and his long career in and around the construction business and my business, project management and leadership skills led to the formation of The Just Ask Howe Team ten years ago.  While with Sentara Healthcare for 25 years,  I completed my Business Degree at Virginia Wesleyan and an MBA at Troy University.

In addition to my very active real estate business, I serve as a Director for the Women´s  Division of the Chamber of Commerce, as a Commissioner for the Historic Preservation      Commission for the City of Chesapeake, as a member of the Newcomer´s Club and Back Bay Preservation Society.  I am also an active real estate investor and support the organizations to   improve the area including the Chesapeake Housing and Redevelopment through the Section 8 Program and the Cradock Housing Advisory Council.

After 44 years of marriage and raising Patrick  & Kristin , I started a new journey as a widow. I enjoy spending time with my six grandchildren, reading, traveling, gardening  and supporting the arts in the area.

I moved to Hampton Roads from New England in the mid 90´s when my  husband was stationed at Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

After working as an RN for a number of years,  I decided that being a Realtor was another way to take care of people´s needs.   I enjoy working with Buyers and the  excitement of helping them find their new home.  My main focus is giving attention to the details throughout the entire process.

I enjoy living in Hampton Roads for all the variety of sites and activities to take advantage of. It´s a great place to raise "wrestlers & surfers" like my two grown sons were.   I live in the neighborhood of Western Branch in Chesapeake.  I enjoy photography and I keep myself busy with  volunteering at the Chesapeake Free Care Clinic, the Chamber of Commerce &  my neighborhood Civic League.

Born in Portsmouth, I have lived in Virginia almost all of my life, attending grade school in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake and graduating from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.  Now as a military family, my husband and I and our 3 daughters are happy to be stationed in Hampton Roads.  Over the years, I have watched the communities here grow and develop into the wonderful area that it is.  I spend my free time as a Girl Scout Leader, School library volunteer and just being a busy Mom.

As an assistant to the Team for over 6 years and a referral agent, there is great joy in helping people have a place to call home.
